安娜斯塔西亚（Anastacia）。在纽约长大成人的安娜斯塔茜亚出生在一个娱乐世家，父亲是歌手，母亲是百老汇音乐剧演员。
曾在Club MTV和Salt-N-Pepa的《Everybody Get Up》、《Twist and Shout》等MV中表演。1999年杀入MTV才艺秀The Cut的决赛后，她的表现引起了唱片公司的关注。随后她与索尼音乐的Epic唱片公司签约，录制的第一张专辑《Not That Kind》于2000年在全球发行，立刻取得巨大成功，专辑在八个欧洲和远东国家打入排行榜前十名，销量超过两百万张。
